The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.

Welcome to Phoenix Consulting

PHOENIX CONSULTING...your practical source for safety and human resource management programs & services.

Sound management programs and practices are the cornerstone of a productive work force, and essential to the growth and success of any organization. By being prepared for difficult situations when they arise, you are protecting yourself and your business from potential legal liability, as well as demonstrating to your employees that you are committed to providing a professionally managed workplace.

Developing, documenting and following set guidelines can eliminate or considerably reduce costly and time-consuming problems for the business owner. Unfair dismissal, discrimination and sexual harassment cases cost Saskatchewan employers hundreds of thousands of dollars annually. Work-related injuries create job interruptions and decrease productivity and profitability, resulting in a total cost approximately five to six times greater than direct WCB costs.

Phoenix Consulting has developed strong working relationships with provincial regulatory bodies and has been assisting Saskatchewan employers in developing, implementing and managing effective human resource and safety management programs since 1994.

An electronic library of material has been developed with plain-language, field-tested materials which provide a practical blend of legislative requirements and established industry standards. All material is reviewed and updated on a regular basis to ensure the programs reflect current legislation, standards and practices. Using the library material as a starting point, information is tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual workplace. Phoenix also offers ongoing on-site support on an as-needed basis to ensure the continued success of customer programs.

Since 1994, Phoenix Consulting has been providing a wide range of products and services to western Canadian employers, including:

  • The development and implementation of an OH&S- or COR-compliant safety program helps a company to provide a safe and healthy workplace for its employees, and to meet its responsibilities under provincial legislation.  Phoenix has an extensive library of program material, and provides hands-on assistance in customizing the program to meet the needs of the individual company.
  • Achieving and maintaining compliance with ISNetworld®, an internet-based contractor pre-qualification process, helps contractors maintain eligibility to bid work with large industrial owners.  Phoenix has been assisting companies in achieving ISNetworld® compliance since 2009.
  • An effective human resource management program can help promote consistent management practices and contribute to employee morale.
